Hi Joanna here! WAIT...!

JOANNA?!

You may be wondering what in the world is this woman doing on Sam's blog.

Sam just downloaded Blogger on her phone and I'm merely doing her the favour of writing her first mobile blog. We're currently bored out of our wits waiting for her car to be serviced so I'm just killing time by 'invading' her blog space.

That's all for now. Shall invade again some other time! Toodles!

Before I talk about relavant things related to the title above, I have a reason for blogging at this hour. It's my 4th day of posting in Taiping Hospital in Perak. Hospital settings, doctors, nurses and people in Taiping are really nice but there's nothing much to do here. I am bored of staying in the hotel room the whole time (excluding times in hospital and for meals). So I decided to blog. Meeeh...
So here are some food, mainly from Penang and 1 or 2 from Kota Kinabalu. =) Enjoy!

 Steam Chicken
From Hot Bowl Nyonya Delight, AbuSiti Road, Penang
This is 1 of the best chicken I've eaten so far.
It is very soft and tasty.

 White Curry
From Hot Bowl Nyonya Delight, AbuSiti Road, Penang
It is very unique cos you can put your own amount of sambal into
it or you can choose to eat it without sambal
to taste the original flavour.
I personally prefer without sambal.

Hot Stone Rice
From Kim Gary (Gurney branch)
It is similar to the Korean bibimbap.

Deep Fried Mantis Shrimp
From Anson Park Restaurant, Penang
It is really good. Honestly, I have never tried before
this, so I can't tell whether this is the best.

Chicken Teriyaki + Japanese mushrooms
From Sakae Sushi (1st Avenue branch)

Corn Shave Ice
From Black Ball (1st Avenue branch)
Very special and cute combination.
A taiwanese dessert.

Pork Brain soup
From a restaurant in Hilltop, Kota Kinabalu.
Drinking the soup itself is delicious but tasting the
brain is a bit yucky. I can't take the texture of the brain.
But it is good to give it a try.

Tamparuli mee
From Kedai Kopi Kheng Swee Hing, Tamparuli, Sabah
It is a must try fried noodle in Sabah. It is delicious.
But non-local may find it ordinary or won't appreciate the taste as
much as Sabahans do.

Nyonya Prawn in Coconut
From Hai Boey Seafood Restaurant, Penang
It was not as good as it seems but it is very unique.

Thousand Island chicken
From Xuan Xin Restaurant, Gurney Plaza, Penang
Delicious. It has serai in it, smells and tastes really good.

Crab Porridge
From Xuan Xin Restaurant, Gurney Plaza, Penang
Was a bit disappointed with this. The picture in the menu was deceiving.
I can't taste the crab and the porridge was quite tasteless.

Blogging about these food in the middle of the night makes me hungry. I should go to sleep now. Hope you enjoyed reading this post. Well, I enjoyed blogging about it. =D

Good night everyone! <3 p="p">
